But the thing is, I already have an exsphere shard in my inventory. I searched around to make sure that I have everything I need, and that I did everything that I needed to do. I have the unicorn's horn, met with the people at Nova Caravan and got the linkite nut, had it made into the linkite ocarina, got Boltzman's book for Raine to have the healing arts, and made a summon pact with all the summon spirits available so far besides Luna including the one from the Tower of Darkness.

I've finished the Remote Island Human Ranch too. I tried talking to Dirk to see if him giving me an exsphere shard would work, but he didn't give me one.
